Bowling Electric, originally owned by Sheldon Bowling, was established in Greenview and moved to its present location in Camdenton in 1968.  Ron and Mary Lou Alsin bought Bowling Electric in 1977 and turned what started out as a small electric motor repair shop into a very busy, full-service electric motor, pump and machinery retail/wholesale business with nationwide distribution.

We sell: Electric motors, water pumps, dock de-icers and thermostats, pond and septic aerators; dock, fountain and underground sprinkler pumps; air compressor accessories, vent fans, heaters and boat lift blowers.

We repair: Electric power tools, pneumatic tools, air compressors, water pumps, dock de-icers, electric motors and all of the above.

The original “Dock Saver” Dock De-Icer was invented in 1978. The “Submersible Dock-Saver” followed soon after.  In 1983, the “Dock Watch” thermostat was designed and manufactured by Bowling Electric.  “Being diversified, keeping a large inventory and servicing what we sell is the key to our longevity,” says Mary Lou.

Bowling Electric employs three technicians who have well more than 50 years of combined hands-on experience saving customers time and money.
